Andrew Spanswick, CEO of KLEAN Treatment Center along with his co-host Judah Friedman welcome Dr. Jason Coe, Specialist in Addiction and Dual Diagnosis. They open with a discussion about the Oscars and specifically the portrayal of mental illness in the movie “Silver Lining Playbook”. Angela calls in to ask about the effectiveness of Naltrexone, an opiate blocker that helps cut cravings for alcohol. Another listener calls in to ask if he drinks to get drunk once a week, does that make him an alcoholic. CJ, a loyal listener of 2 years and struggling with alcoholism and a mild opiate addiction, calls in searching for help. He wants to get sober but also has to support his family so Dr. Coe offers to provide him with treatment. Bobby, who has a high stress financial career inquires about how to deal with his dependence to Adderall and Xanax without leaving his job.
